i was drinking coffee early last night when i felt chilly more than usual. angel was in the restroom cleansing his face and applying facial creams. i heard his cellphone rung and suddenly he was rushing out of the bathroom requesting me to open the gate for thai, our vietnamese friend. i got the electronic key and walked out to the car park, expecting that thai was already waiting. when i got there, i saw a girl sitting on the sidewalk and talking on the phone.
as i open the side gate, a young man appeared in front of me. he was a cute caucasian, about 5’8 and have a well toned body. i thought he was meeting up with the girl but he’s not. i dialled thai’s number to ask where he is, but he was not answering his phone. i tried it 3 more times but to no avail. suddenly the girl asked me if i was waiting for food, i said no, i’m here to open the gate for my friend. thai finally arrived and we went straight to angel’s apartment.
thai invited us for a dinner at a nearby sushi house because he was craving for “something” sushi. angelo suggested walking but thai refused. we took thais car and when we got there, the place was packed with college students. we decided to sit outside and join some smoking dukies…after ordering sashimi , sushi rolls and miso soup, we started to chit-chat.
3 college guys arrived and occupied the table next to us. I didn’t have a good angle to look at their “handosmeness” but angel did. i tried communicating “telepathically” with angel and asked him if any one is cute. just like a hustler, angelo showed the finger peace sign, meaning 2 of them were qualified according to his standards. i got excited because i trust angelo’s eyes when it comes to guys..
thai started to ask me and angelo about what we are doing. but i cant explain it to him because, surely these guys will overhear us. its confusing to communicate using various form of languages – sign language, body language, eye contact, taglish including arabic phrases but somehow we did understand each other. oh u might ask, how the hell did we learn arabic? angel and i worked in the middle east for almost 5 years, thus we can converse in basic arabic.
the food arrived, but i like the “food” seated next to us and not the food served to us. i tossed and turn in my chair so i can look at these guys but i still can’t get a good angle. thai and angelo was continuously talking about their travel plans next year… i just listened to their conversation. their words were just too superficial for me at that moment. finally i gave up peeking and for 15 minutes i attended the needs of my stomach. i immediately finish my part and started tossing and turning again…total failure! the food was not a big deal, but these guys are my future.. my future “hada.”
i was relieved when angelo and thai paid for the food. i stood up and walked very slow similar to mr. anderson in matrix. finally, my much awaited moment…i can now look at these duke cuties, and i did. one of them caught me looking at him and for a few seconds just looked at each other. i was thinking? “jombag kaya etetch? or success? i really can’t take my eyes from him. i even tried to “memorize” his face. i motioned angelo to wait just a little bit more but the signal got mixed up. i was disappointed. i could have smiled, ask his name, get his phone number or even take him home, if we just stayed there for another 5 minutes.. but it was a failure…
we reached thai”s car and i immediately explained to him the discreet communication i had with angelo . according to angelo, the other guy established eye contact with him 3x lasting upto 5-8 seconds. thai was laughing and shaking his head. it’s very trivial but the excitement was overflowing for us.
A gray suv arrived and parked next to thai’s car, i tried to have a good look at the driver but it was dark in the area. The guy got out of his vehicle while Angelo was walking towards him, to get inside thai’s car. When suddenly, Angelo lost his control, unable to filter his words and just blurted out some words that even i didn’t understand, but more of…omfg another hottie on the loose!!!
